I would love to join a gym group, individual cost is too high for me. I'm new to the area, so meeting new people and loosing weight would be great. I've lost 16lbs in 3 weeks following your diet from your "Downsizing" book, so I need to exercise now.

I was terrified when I first returned the a gym after a thirty year interlude. I was scared of all the machines and feared humiliation. I now know you don’t need them. It’s much easier to build an active day, starting with walking regularly. I also set a rule that I would always take the stairs. It was really hard to start with but it became a little competition I used to play with myself.
I'm feeling pleased with myself, want to loose 2 more stones if I can. I live in beautiful Bewdley high up, in Hill farm. Its great walking down hill, I struggle to walk back up the hill. Which frustrates me, as I used to be so fit. Guess the social life that goes with team sports is taking its tole now. Your book has really helped me understand the low carb diet, so thank you very much. I know if I can get out and walk or exercise I can get toned again. In the 3 weeks I've lost 3 inches from my waist too. I love swimming but not confident enough yet to go to a public baths. I will get there though I'm determined. You have done so well. I went to Menzies High school, remember meeting you at one of your surgeries a long time ago. You look so well and healthy now, well done.
